Understanding ST adapters

Fiber optic adapters are used for linking two connectors and are essential for fiber optic assemblies. There are many types of adapters such as FC, LC, SC, ST, MTRJ, MU, MPO and hybrid adapters. ST adapters are inline and are connected to fiber optic connectors at both ends to ensure the correct alignment of the ferrules of the connectors.

The FC square fiber optic adapter is available in the standard body styles with nickel plated brass or nickel plated zinc housing. LC Fiber Optic Adapter

SC Fiber Optic Adapter

We supply SC fiber optic adapters; these products are various types including single mode and multimode, zirconia sleeve and bronze sleeve, simplex and duplex versions. Standard female to female SC fiber optic adapter and hybrid SC fiber optic adapters are available.

Typical SC fiber optic adapters are with plastic housing and for single mode SC UPC it is blue color, single mode SC APC it is green color, multimode SC UPC is beige color. Aprocables announced pulling eye fiber cable

Pulling eye fiber cable is a device that is fastened to a fiber cable. The hook can then be attached to the fiber pulling eye to pull the fiber cable through an inner duct, duct or small space. Alternatively, it is possible to simply tie the pulling rope to the strength member in a fiber cable. This is enough for very simple pulls with very low resistance. But for conduit runs, this is a dangerous practice since the knot may catch along the path and fiber may be broken.
