LC, MTRJ and MU adapters connect optical connectors of a smaller size to an optical networking assembly. MTRJ adapters connect two optical fiber MTRJ connectors. The MTRJ adapter was developed to meet the rising consumer demands for smaller, inexpensive and high density interconnections between the MTRJ connectors.
